Unlocking your Music is now a Snap
Let’s say you were an iPhone user for several years and you wanted to switch to something else. You heard the new Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy S7 were nice and thought let’s check one of those out for a year or two. Everything on your iPhone transferred over smoothly and you even had most of the same apps. You thought this was way easier than you expected UNTIL….you tried to play a song from your old iTunes library on your new phone. You got a nasty message that said the file couldn’t be played or the format was wrong or some nonsense you didn’t totally understand. You kept trying a bunch of different songs that worked on your iPhone and all are “no bueno!” on your new android device. WTF??? I’ll tell you WTF…it’s the DRM that’s preventing your from playing all these songs that you paid for with your hard earned money. So you go to Google and see what you can do. If you did this you would find a mac app called “AppleMapSoft DRM Converter” as one of the options to fix this problem. If you chose to install the app on your mac you would soon find that IT WORKS WELL and it’s pretty easy to use too! So let’s talk about it…
User Interface and Functionality
The user interface is clean and easy to understand. If you have ever used iTunes you shouldn’t have any problem understanding how this app works. Along the left hand side is a list of playlists. You should refresh the program once it starts to make sure it sees all the available playlists of music in your library. After loading select a playlist and you should see the list of songs for that playlist in the right hand side. Simply select the songs you want to convert to choose the songs. Before converting you should check the tabs along the bottom. There is an output tab that tells you want format the files are going to be converted to and where they are going to be placed when they are converted. After you have that all setup you click the “Start Convert” icon at the top of the screen. Once all the files have finished converting you are done. You now have converted files in the location you chose in the output tab. That’s it it’s that simple. I tried this app several times and it always converted every file on the list exactly as I expected.
File Types Supported
AppleMacSoft DRM Converted supports the conversion of many different types of music files. The list includes:
- and many more
You never have to worry about file compatibility using this as your DRM converting option. As far as sound quality goes I haven’t experienced any sound loss by converting the files using this app. I can’t say that you will have the same results because I think it really depends on the quality of the file you started with. I definitely would say give it a try and see for yourself.
I highly recommend this app for anyone with a mac looking to convert files from iTunes to play on any other devices that’s aren’t apple. It works, it’s easy to use, and it’s very convenient for anyone looking to convert a large library of songs they own.
