Need to Relax? There’s an App For That!
Today I’m reviewing the iPhone App “Feel Good” by SiynApps. Feel Good is an app designed to help people relax by giving them a time out from their daily routine. The app does this by playing relaxing background music and sounds. It also shows the user beautiful scenic photos to go along with the relaxing background sounds. There is also sometimes a narrator to help lead you to a relaxed state of mind. It’s all very new age feeling and reminds me a lot of those commercials I used to hear for the new age radio station in Chicago a few years ago. Their slogan always talked about “Smooth Jazz”! They liked to play Yanni music quite a bit and always Mannheim Steamroller at Christmas time. It was also nice if you wanted to relax. I guess that’s the bottom line. There are many ways to relax. What makes Feel Good worth your time?
Why You Should Get The Feel Good App
It’s free! Can’t tell you how much those two words help ease the tension. And because it’s free there is nothing to risk downloading it and trying it out. They also give you a few items from their catalogue for free as well. How cool is that? You can check out some of their programming and not spend a dime! That’s relaxing! But seriously it’s one of those type of apps that you might really like or you might not like. I guess everyone is different and it depends on how you like to relax. I tend to like to have white noise playing rather than music and someone talking in my ear about this and that but that’s just me. So why not check it out and see how you feel about it. You may really get into it and think it’s the greatest thing ever. Also there some nice connectivity to facebook and twitter so you can send your favorite scenes and inspirational quotes to others on facebook, twitter, or in an email. That’s kind of cool because there are times when I read something and want to share it with my wife and my friends and don’t always have the way to do it conveniently. Definitely a plus.
Why You Shouldn’t Get The Feel Good App
If you’re the type of person who can’t bare to slow down this is not the app for you. You really need to be able to focus on relaxing when you use this app. Also if you think stuff like this is ridiculous and that all you need is sleep to relax then by all means go to bed and save yourself the trouble. Also if you would rather drink to relax and there’s a lot of those kind of people out there then you may want to just go buy a bottle and skip it.
The bottom line with the app “Feel Good” is this kind of app is really only good if you think you are going to use it and take it seriously. If you have other things you’d rather do or you are easily bored by such things then go relax in your own way because this will be a snooze fest. Hmmm well then again if you end up snoozing you would be relaxed and therefore the app is doing what it’s supposed to do…helping you to relax. So either way it’s a win-win! But don’t just listen to me on this one. Go check it out for yourself! And chill out will ya???? Sheeesh!! :)
This app is pretty nice. It’s basically a smaller version of a power point presentation with background narration and music. I like what it’s trying to do and think it will have some value to some users. There is some nice social connectivity and they do a good job getting you introduced to the app and the catalogue options they have available.
