Mars Smash – NO IT’S NOT!

I don’t have a lot to say about this app because it couldn’t play it. It was too unbearable to play. Side scrolling apps like this are so dated it isn’t even funny. In fact I would say that I had more fun playing any number of side scrolling apps from the 80′s arcade days than i did playing this modern day iPhone game. The gist of the application is that martians have invaded and it’s your job to take them all down. You start out running to the right with a shot gun. When the martians gum you shoot, when the holes or spikes show up you jump over them. Duck or jump over the flames. Rinse lather repeat! Yawn!!! Soooo boring and so lame. After a few tries at this game i was just not into playing it. I love playing iPhone apps and this one just made me want to put down my phone and go take a nap! Whoever wrote this app I hope this was their first attempt and I hope I’m not being too harsh but this app needs work. The graphics are odd at best, the game play is childish and repetitive, and I hate hate hate having to die and then go start back at the beginning of the level. More save points please! Over all this thing was not my favorite and I’m going to leave it at that.
