Free Music Download Pro+ was functionally perfect during the time I ran it.  The app ran smoothly and was free from bugs and crashes.  The app played music as expected as did the settings.   Bottom line it was functionally perfect.

Appearance

The appearance of the app is simple, clean an efficient.  The main screen is basically the web page of the music service the user has chosen.  So if users like the look of the Last.fm web page then you’ll love it!  If users don’t you like that one they can choose from some of the free music sites such as  ArtitstServer.com, Live Music Archive, AudioArchive, Jamendo.com or Librivox.   Each of these sites is similar yet there are some differences such as color scheme, layout, etc…  The documents, playlist, artists, songs,
albums and genres screens are basic list screens.  These are clean and easy to understand.   The settings screen is a series of toggle switches and several other important app settings users can adjust.   Overall there’s not much to the look of this app it’s pretty basic looking and clearly designed for function rather than appearance.  The downloads screen is kind of cool because it lets the users see the progress of the download as it’s building.  But overall the point of this app is music and music playing.  So I didn’t expect too much in the way of appearance.  It’s not bad it’s not that exciting that’s all.

Usability

Free Music Download Pro+ is very useful for people who are looking to explore all the free legal music the internet has to offer.  It’s also a highly useful music player and MP3 tag editor.  Users get free legal access to music and they get to play it in a highly functional music player.  Its my opinion that true music lovers who are open to artists they’ve never heard of before will really enjoy using this app.  The app is not graphically superior but something like graphics may not be needed for an app that downloads free music.  It’s music player alone should be enough to inspires users to at least check  it out.  The ability to import songs from the music on the device also gives the user a nice amount of flexibility in the way they enjoy their music on their device.  The application developer has developed a nice collection of music services and features that make this app useful and entertaining.

Price

This app is priced extremely well at .99.  There’s no worry when the app costs less than your average cup of coffee.  So price should be no option when considering this iPhone app.   However if you are seriously tight on cash, users can always download the free app and try it out.
